Transportation Services
IWU offers service-orientated hazardous
and non-hazardous waste transportation. All drivers complete extensive technical
and regulatory training including OSHA 40-hour classes with eight-hour updates,
manifest completion, container labeling and inspection, vehicle placarding,
usage of safety equipment, vehicle safety inspection, and accident preparedness.
All drivers are road tested and subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
We hold regularly scheduled safety meetings with all technical personnel
to cover the latest risk management information while refreshing their knowledge
of previously distributed materials.
Carefully maintained vehicles are a top priority at IWU. Each day, our drivers
must complete a detailed inspection report prior to leaving our facilities.
Regular maintenance schedules are closely monitored and repairs are completed
prior to the vehicle being returned to the fleet.
We own and operate a diverse fleet that is capable of handling any type
